I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread that can be used to organise weekend long runs etc. rather than highjacking other threads. If you're looking for company post it here and hopefully you can find someone to run with.
Speaking of which, Mark are you heading out this weekend?? I've been slowly increasing my long runs and managed to get through 2 20km runs last week. I'm pretty confident that my knee has recovered well so I think I'm ready to hit the trails again with you. Let me know what you're up to - Saturday is better for me.

Hey Nate,
I have been out there running each weekend, lucky for me I had some people who came and ran some sections with me which made the time go quicker, Thanks Kathy and Suzy. I will be down south this weekend coming and for all the following week, so I will not be able to run with you guys until the weekend of 16/17th. I ran 40k out at the Mundaring Weir on Sunday, started running at 5.00am with headlamp and torch to get some night running practise for 1hr then met Suzy and ran 1h30 with her on a loop across the South Ridge as the sun came up which was spectacular, then did another loop for 2hrs, great single track and hills, good change from running at Jarrahdale every weekend. The weekend before ran 40k at Jarrahdale with a 12k loop with Kathy then the 30k Kingsbury Road loop. I will be doing some sections of the Cape to Cape whilst down south but other than that taking a easy week as I have been pushing 80-105k over the last 5 weeks and the body is feeling a bit banged up with the extra kms.
So I will be in touch when I get back and make some plans with whoever would like to come and attack the trails. Mark

I enjoyed my 90min run with Mark last Sunday and am keen to do more trail running. I've just ordered a Garmin and bought a MundaBiddi map. I'm not up to the big miles some of you guys are doing but if theres a shorter loop option I'd be happy to tag along sometimes. Maybe there are others lurking out there who'd like to just do some 1-2hr runs on nice trails, perhaps building up to the bigger stuff in due course. As Nate said, if you're interested post on here and maybe you can find some company.

saturday mornings 6am owen rd darlington all year round 0630 start in winter... they r ramping up for comrades in june now so some good 27k-50k stuff starting to come including some excellent hills on several courses... i did a tough 27k (long hill) last weekend there...also a few doing the easy 19k-33k stuff always...
i may join some of you for a sunday long run some weeks...later in the year if you r interested...means i dont have to juggle overtime at work with my long run, plus can do reps on saturday...but i really enjoy long runs with hills group done most of them there in the last 12 months i think its the best or certainly one of the best groups in perth...

There you go Nathan and Dave; New weekend away 10-11th of May for Ridge-top walk. An awesome scenic hike over 2 days will possibly turn it into a loop depending on whether we have 1 or 2 car loads. -Weather dependent. Dave - Post this stuff on the weekend long runs thread. thanks

This Saturday 30km or so, Mark are you keen? Let me know where you want to run and I'll be there. My first long run in the bush for almost 2 months - I can't wait!

Nate we can just do Jarrahdale if you like, it's close to both of us, you keen for dark start or wait till light. 6.00am or 6.30am you can decide. The bits you have are red spraay jacket and gloves. I just rememeber it is my wedding anniversary on Sunday so I will have to see how it settles if I get up and go racing? Let me know your plan for Saturday.

I'd prefer 6:00am start Mark, although I generally don't get home till 11:00pm Friday night after Youth Group, but I've some stuff planned for Sat morning so the earlier the better. Meet @jarradale general store just before 6:00am. C U Then
