Thanks for the run lads - nice terrain! Lucky it was dark at the start - didn't see the first big hill

After thinking about things last night, my plan is now to run a 40km out and back along the MB north from Jarradale, 20km out and back at race pace then a cool down. Would be great to see you out there TB, I reckon you should try and run a consistent 40 miler race pace this weekend and the Jarradale course is good for this.
PS I wont get to bed before 11:00pm Friday night then up again at 4:40am. "Live while you're alive, sleep when you're dead" (Bon Jovi).

Hey All,
Nate seeing as you want to run 5.00min pace I think I may start at 5.30am and get a head start, as I want to run at 6.00-6.15 pace. I ran all my runs last week way to fast including setting a PB on Sundayat Point Walter, so to be mindful of injury I will just cruise this weeks runs even though it is another 100km week. Let me know what time you are going, if you start at 6.0am you will catch me at just before the 20k turn around, it will give you an incentive to keep pushing + I enjoy running in the dark with lights on for a change. Anyone else coming let us know, Ism1, Nate, Mark, ++++++?

Fantastic idea Mark, I think you're better off having a 'easy' week in terms of pace considering your week last week. I'll start at 6:00am and try to track you down.

Great to see some keen new trail runners coming for runs, it great to have the interest. I'm still going at 5.30am maybe a bit earlier, I will be looking over my shoulder to see how fast you can catch me, it will sound like a herd of elephants chasing me down! Nate I will draw a line across the trail where the 20k turn point is, off my Garmin so you know where you are at, that is if you haven't caught me by then. Emo come on you can run a fast 5k after,Saturday will be your warm up! I ran a PB after 30k hard last week never felt faster, I couldn't believe it. I will see you guys in bush tomorrow, if anyone else wants a run any lenght of what we are running get in touch. Jon, Suzy, Kathy? ?

Mark are you running 40km or further. Based on my sums, if you start at 5:30 and I start at 6:00 I wouldn't catch you until about 26k, but we'll see. I'll be wearing my gps as well so will see if ours are the same.

Nate the plan is 40k, you will just need to run faster! I reckon my pace in the dark maybe 6.30ish with a sunrise feed and I plan on doing 25/5 run/ walks for the first section so you should catch me by the turn around. I'm really just going for the time on feet not to concerned about pace so just an enjoyable 4-5hr trek. See you out there some where.

Hey Mark, Im doing the traffic controllers course this weekend for the wamc, so wont be able to join you. I'll be running around the bridges for a change of scenery.
Are you still going to be doing a trail run on Sundays or just Saturdays?? I wont be able to do Saturdays - speed session day for me.
