Shall we meet at the carpark near the ruins. This is near the white gate but accessed off the bitumen rd. If you go into the actual campground and the white gate is closed then it adds about 25K of slow gravel roads.

Can you give me some road names for this Dave, or even better a position on Google maps?

Take Nanga Rd off Pinjarra-Williams Rd and meet just after the right angled right hand turn where it changes it's name to Nanga Brook Rd. The gate is straight ahead but turn right and look for parking about 100m down on right hand side. there will be some Munda Biddi signs heading off down a gravel rd to the left. I think it's about 11k from town.

Thanks for the run Dave and Nate, great to experience the track before the day. Pulled up pretty well, and got through 30k this morning, though the feet were a bit sore for the last 8k or so. Only problem with yesterday was my phone is now waterous, and I had to buy a new one today.

Yes a good run on Saturday and I pulled up with no muscular soreness at all and ITB's just a little tight. No good about your phone Rob, FYI I find it works well to put it in a sandwich bag (sealable) to keep it dry.
Heading down to the stirlings next Sat to have a crack at the ridgetop walk. I don't think it will take longer than 8hrs assuming I don't get lost as I won't be doing the loop back to the car as Kate is coming with me.
Have fun running the C2S guys!

I emailed DEC about the lack of water @ the Waterous rest point. They replied as follows:
"There should be a water tank at the site connected to the toilet. Can you please let me know if this is not the case?"
I've let them know there wasn't a water tank there.

Certainly is strange, can't imagine that we missed it! Good to know that they are interested in fixing the problem.
Good luck in the C2S on Sunday and of course with your run on Saturday as well.
I'm planning a 70k run next Saturday from Jarradale to North Dandalup return on the MB. Start will be at 6am and I would like to finish before 3pm (8hrs). Dave, Rob you guys keen for a run - don't have to do the whole thing, even just 30-40k. Last year when I did this run Mark joined me for the first 20k, then turned around to run back. Let me know.

I remember the day well Nate was perfect weather and a great day out. Wish I could be out there running with you guys in preparations for the 50 Miler, love to beat my time, maybe next year, I suggest to Robby I should start running Ultra's again she just gave me a weird look in reply. The Dwellingup 100k MTB marathon is in the same area on Sept 19 at least I get to enjoy the area again. Stay fit and happy trails

Hey Mark does this mean you're in for the 100k MTB at Dwelly? Would be good to have another familiar face there.
Good luck with the run guys, I may not be able to run that far but I'm hoping I can push my MTB around for 100k.

I have 35km down for that day Nathan, so 18km out and back sounds good. Have a great run down south!
