New Running store in Perth

Hey, guys, was excited to hear there's a new running store here now - The Running Centre (TRC for short). Their website is delayed in getting live, but the front doors opened on Wednesday. I happened to drive by today and spotted the place!

1273 Hay Street, West Perth (Just before Outram street)

The guys heading it up include some top tri/duo/running guys - Raf Baugh and Jason Nuttman are two of them. They've got massage therapy on site and Raf's going to move his physio over there, apparently. They'll also run some coaching from the front door - close proximity to Kings Park

It's supposed to be the kinda place where runners can hang out, sip some cool water, and watch the latest big marathon or tri on their big plasma tv screen, while making new friends!

And they're even going to stock trail shoes .... yummy!

heard a whisper about that a few weeks ago...
anything Raf is involved with is always the best...I think he was ranked in the top 5 in the world for the duathlon the last 2 years (have to check his blog) he races in the world series all over the world, and was a very close second in the city to surf 12k this year, and is arguably the no 1 duathlete in Australia at the moment although daniel green just beat him at Nationals this year...
Raf runs the 10km in about 31minutes I think...

sounds like an awesome place worth a visit, could be better than the Total Triathlon shop by the sounds...

well done Bernadette on signing them up as a 6 inch sponsor, talk about never missing an opportunity...could be a very fruitful partnership that one...

have to check out the shop soon, look forward to the website developing...I like their logo...hahaha :-)

Yeah great news about TRC opening and I will definitely be visiting their sometime in the new year to check it out.

Hi TB - Total Tri does the full tri thing, where The Running Centre is just focusing on the running side of things. So there's lots of goodies to be had over at David's store, too.

If I remember right, Raf moved up to #3 overall now in world duathlete standings as of the last ITU competition in November. Hard to believe he upped his standings so well while running his own business and starting up this store at the same time! He must not sleep!
