I find those trails difficult enough in the daytime - at night I'd be hopeless!

It's supposed to be a 13k track. Just learn it once in the daylight and you've got it made! And a big light helps We could go team and you could ride the dusk and dawn parts with me in the darkest part.

Sounds reasonable - I do 1 lap at dusk and 1 lap at dawn, while you ride around and round like a madwoman all thru the night I think you might want to go ride a lap of the course before you go making any rash decisions - it has plenty of tricky bits.

I'm doing it solo, I did the 6hr in the same area earlier this year and it is a very technical single trail, depending on which trails they choose it will pay big to do a few laps in the daytime first, they will have the course marked out 5 weeks before the race for practice. Be great to see you guys there, last year the solo winner did 18 laps!

18 laps of a 13k course in 12 hours...That's about 20kph on technical single track in the dark. Wow.
