Courtney Carter has taken back to back Perth Half Marathons, winning in commanding fashion for the second year in a row in 67minutes...Think Todd Ingraham 3rd? in 71min?, and keen to find out what RunningBrave did...wonder if he could have been the bloke in 2nd in 70min? Kenji did 76min. Tina Major returned to winning with an 84min effort! according to sugar-42195.blogspot.com/2009/06/good-start-perth-hm-5k.htmlsome discussion on cool running @ www.coolrunning.com.au/forums/index.php?showtopic=23161I had another nice scenic half around the swan again, collected some more metal to go with the dozen I have for the Pool room...but was running more near PW zone than PB although my 16km reps session in training this week suggests a sub 4 marathon might be possible in 2 weeks time...

Hamish Mcelwee was the canning districts singlet beating Todd Ingraham by the looks... I got my finishing photo (Thanks to david ) onto Facebook Ive dropped 1kg off my weight as of today, and the resting heart rate is down very significantly to 45 today (all my PB's have been when I hit RHRs of 46 or less in the week before I think), so just need to keep heading in that direction for July 5th to be a serious PB attempt hopefully for me... and thanks to WAMC the full results are online @ www.wamc.org.au/results/results_2009/HMAR2009results.pdfon Cool Running Courtney says his next target race is a 10k in Launceston... previous 6 inch record holder Rebecca Doedens did 1.48...so could she be firing for the Perth Marathon again? David Cane (Sugar) returned to racing with an 18.06 5km... Nice to see Simon Elliott back with a 79min effort, and heaps of good efforts from many names I know... saw at least one of Dave Hendersons sub 3.30 bus out there, and then there is the "Simon says sub 4" people who I saw a lot of and I guess they will be the sub 4 hours bus in 2 weeks time...
