Hi all,
I'll run this past you and seek advice:
Although coming back from injury - I have the Melbourne Marathon on my marathon calendar this year.
The drama I have with it is I am going to to do Rotto again which is one week later.
So when running marathons so close together should you go all out on the first one, or save yourself for the second?
I see on the Melb marathon website you can register teams. Maybe WAMC members could get together for a few teams.
Cheers,
Coops

Hey Coops, Glad to hear you are back from injury. I plan to run Melb in 2011...a long way off I know but hopefully will have Busselton Ironman committments in 2009 & 2010.
Do plan to run the Perth or the City to Surf Marathon?

Gunner,
I plan to run Perth as a training run, nice and easy. I think that I will not be on pace till at least the City To Surf. So I'll do the City To Surf as well hoping that my levels are up and with more solid training under my belt. I have at least one international runner staying with me for that one.
Well done re Bunbury, I checked your times not long after. Funny when you were in Exmouth I was at Steep Point!
See you out there?
Coops.
