Looks like he has got to 101km in 12 hours, done only 1 more km in the next 2 hours, injury troubles would be my best guess..., has slept/rested from about 10pm or midnight until 6am or so (my guess is about 6-8 hours of sleep), then got going again with some walking, is up to 116.8km at 23 hour mark...

final results havent surfaced but looks like nathan finished with 122km... two ultra legends; martin friar about 230km+ and Joe blake about 240km have dominated the race... Susannah Harvey-Jamieson an outright womans winner by a long way, did 2nd best effort of alltime by australian woman with about 210km, which is ahead of Dawn Paris (203km in 1989), and behind Helen Stangers 229km in 1998... www.aura.asn.au/data/rankings/track/AURA_AllTimeRankings_Track_24Hr_Female_10-10-08.pdfand scott orchard and anthony courtney probably both broke the 200km barrier... about 6 other runners over 150km, some around the 170-190km area...including Marie Doke, Allison Lilley, Justin Sholtz,Trevor Marsh?,Collins Brooks, Tony Collins, Rudolf Kinshofer, 17 blokes, 4 sheilas... 4 new centurion racewalkers (160km in under 24 hrs); Rudy Schoors, Carolyn Mestdagh are new centurions, and probably Ian Valentine, Geoff Hain. home.vicnet.net.au/~austcent/index.htmljoining my racewalking coach and one of my racewalking training mates from the early 1990's who both are members of the revered centurions club, still less than 60 people to have joined this club in Australia since 1938... so an impressive first 12 hours from Nathan with the 101km...and nice to see him add another 22km but mostly walking in the last 2 hours by the look of it...
