I had a bad day. Really suffered from the curve of the athletics track and after 2hrs my legs were trashed. Limped home with 62.9k walking the last 75minutes and went from 2nd @ 3hrs to 9th overall. Was shattered with the results but at least I know what to work on in the next 5 weeks and will be a regular at Perry Lakes.
WA went 1,2 in the 6hr and 100k with Michael Baldock gaining automatic selection for the 100k National team with a 7:58.50 (76ish in 6hr) and Mick Francis 2nd with a M50 100k record of 8:24 (74ish in 6hr).

Sorry to hear it didn't go the way you had hoped Nathan. You'll be set next time I'm sure.

Sorry to hear it, too, Nathan. Hope your recovery is quick and you can teach those legs to like running on a slope!
