Hello Runners. Here is the GPS map of the Bold Park run. This is a tough and hilly run that will not give you a PB but is a great training run. You can choose to do approx 6k or 11k and mostly all the running is on limestone trails. www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=761883The race starts at 8am from the carpark (as on map) and finishes at the top (about 500m away). Don't worry about your car getting broken into, as we normally have someone keeping an eye on them while you are running. We had some great runs last year so please mark this one down and come along. There won't be many races that you do where you stop dead right on the finish line. This is definatley one of these!!! If you have any questions give me a call on 0400 475 722 Simon

d**n, that's the same day as Coburg 6hr!
Did this one last year and it is truly a great run and course. Actually last year I ran 11k before the race and planned on doing another 10 after to make it my long run, but a number of things happened: 1. I had mistakenly thought it was a 10k race 2. Went out way too fast 3. Had no idea there was that many hills.
I think I finished in about 47ish and was well an truly stuffed by then. I encourage everyone to do this race, it is a great trail run and you might say one of the best kept secrets on the WAMC Calendar.

Despite Saturday's long run, I managed to get myself to the start line for this one (the legs had no idea what I was about to do to them!). I managed to hold out a 5min/k pace for one lap's worth. The legs just weren't interested in another lap, though! I do like that park and the race is a bit of a gem - coming across the finish line, everyone shared that special look that only hills can bring out
