coolrunning has a list of the top 100 marathon times in Australia, in 2006 @

West Australian Men to make the list are;
Todd Ingraham 2.26 (29th) leads the way, then Myles Ferrell 2.35 (x2) (55th and 56th), Will Withers 2.36 (65th), and finally Simon Coates 2.40 (92nd).
I don't recognise any of the others on the list as West Australians but correct me if you can.

Gold Coast scores 35 mentions in the top 100, vindicating the move to make Gold Coast the national championship.
Melbourne (16) and Canberra (14) are at the next tier.
Sydney (, Great Ocean Road (3), Townsville (3), Perth (3) and Cities (3) don't feature that often. Then there are the smaller marathons, which are lucky to feature at all (eg Bunbury, Hobart, Williamstown, Riverina).
